NOTES

According to the Humanity before Vanity animal welfare regulations, this service is not recommended for hair with knots so tight that they cannot be undone with proper brushing and combing, the appropriate tools and products and therfore require shaving, as water will make them even tighter, resulting in discomfort for the dog.

In the event that the dog is found to be infected with fleas, we should use a special deworming shampoo and disinfect the area with special products to avoid contaminating our other four-legged customers.

For these reasons there will be an extra charge of 5 euros.

It includes two hands of shampoo, conditioner, a good blow-dry, shaving the paws, armpits and hygiene areas, nail trimming/filing, cleaning ears and eyes, brushing and combing before and after the bath.

Scissor grooming of the entire muzzle (mouth, beard, corners of the eyes), fringe, head, ear length, tail length and scissors grooming of all legs.

It includes a haircut with a clipper before bathing, shaving the paws, armpits and hygiene areas, brushing, combing and untangling possible knots with appropriate tools and products. Then follow two repetitions of shampooing and conditioner, good blow drying, nail trimming/filing, ear and eye cleaning, brushing again and combing under a special soft hair dryer. Finally a second trim with a clipper to the desired length and a trim with scissors of the entire muzzle (mouth, beard, corners of the eyes), fringe, head, length of ears, length of tail and all legs.

NOTES

In this service, we trim the coat according to the customer’s preference, as long as the condition of the dog’s fur allows it. In case the fur has knots, depending on the advanced state of the condition, we will advise you on the required length that we should follow, in accordance with animal welfare regulations.

This service only applies to dogs with mixed, dense or double coat.

The process involves using a specialized tool to remove the inner fur, followed by brushing, combing, and untangling any knots with suitable tools and products. This is then followed by two rounds of shampooing and conditioning, thorough drying with a hairdryer, nail trimming/filing, and cleaning of the ears and eyes. The inner fur is removed again using the specialized tool. Afterward, the final grooming stage begins with a gentle low-flow air dryer, where brushing and combing are completed, along with precise scissors work in necessary areas based on the breed, culminating in a light trimming of the tail length.

This ancient method is optionally applied to breeds with hard coats, such as Airedales and Wire Fox Terriers.

With the appropriate tools, we remove the dead hair from the root. As a result, the hair returns tight, close to the body, harder than if it were clipped with a machine and with a very vibrant color.

Depending on the dog and the type of coat, with this method the coat will grow back in 6 to 12 weeks.

Following the procedure, we perform two rounds of shampooing, apply conditioner only to sensitive areas, shave the paws, trim and file the nails, shave the armpits and hygiene areas if required, and clean the ears and eyes.

Finally, we trim the required areas using scissors, including the fringe, eyebrows, beard, tail, legs, pants, and skirt, based on the breed and your preferences.
